Maintenance Supervisor

Pay: $33–35/hour
Location: Milwaukee, WI

A large, well-established commercial and residential property portfolio in the Milwaukee area is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor / Lead Maintenance Technician to oversee day-to-day maintenance operations across multiple properties.

This role is hands-on and leadership-focused, requiring someone who can both perform maintenance work and manage property maintenance operations effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and perform routine, preventative, and emergency maintenance for commercial and residential properties

• Supervise maintenance staff and coordinate daily work orders and priorities

• Ensure properties are safe, functional, and well-maintained at all times

• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building systems

• Manage vendor relationships and coordinate outside contractors as needed

• Maintain maintenance schedules, inspections, and documentation

• Ensure compliance with local codes, safety standards, and company policies

• Assist with budgeting, inventory management, and ordering supplies

• Respond to on-call maintenance needs as required

Qualifications

• Proven experience in property maintenance for commercial and/or residential buildings

• Prior supervisory or lead maintenance experience strongly preferred

• Strong working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general repairs

• Ability to manage multiple properties or sites efficiently

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Ability to work independently and take ownership of maintenance operations

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
