About the Opportunity
Our client is seeking a highly organized and relationship-driven Employee Benefits Account Manager to support a growing Employee Benefits division. This individual will work closely with senior leadership to deliver exceptional client service, coordinate employee benefit programs, and ensure the seamless administration of benefit plans.

Key Responsibilities
Client Service & Benefits Administration
- Support the administration of employee benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, Medicare-related products, and ancillary benefits
- Assist with pre-sale activities by gathering census data, coordinating documentation, and supporting carrier quoting and proposal preparation
- Onboard new benefit clients by coordinating data collection, carrier setup, and communications with internal and external partners
- Manage ongoing service requests, including enrollments, eligibility changes, terminations, billing inquiries, and basic claims support
- Coordinate annual renewal processes, prepare renewal materials, and support client communications
- Maintain accurate documentation, records, and compliance with internal procedures
Operational Support & Reporting
- Maintain client files, benefit summaries, and service records across designated systems
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of client, employee, and plan information
- Track service activity and administrative tasks to support reporting and performance metrics
- Assist with process improvements that enhance efficiency, consistency, and scalability
- Support compliance-related documentation and audit requests as needed
Advisor Support & Coordination
- Serve as the primary administrative and scheduling support for senior leadership within the Employee Benefits division
- Coordinate client meetings, renewal reviews, strategy sessions, and follow-up calls
- Prepare meeting agendas, presentation materials, and follow-up summaries
- Track action items, deadlines, and deliverables to ensure timely execution
- Provide client coverage and respond to service inquiries when senior team members are unavailable
Internal Collaboration & Communication
- Act as a liaison between clients, insurance carriers, and internal partners
- Collaborate with relationship managers and other internal teams to ensure a seamless client experience
- Identify, triage, and appropriately escalate complex issues while maintaining clear communication and follow-up
- Support internal workflows, process documentation, and best practices within the Employee Benefits division
Qualifications
- Three to five years of experience in employee benefits administration, insurance servicing, or a related field
- Strong understanding of group benefits, individual insurance products, and benefits administration processes
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high level of attention to detail
- Proficiency working across multiple systems, including enrollment platforms, carrier portals, CRM systems, and internal tools
- Ability to identify discrepancies, solve problems proactively, and escalate issues appropriately
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree, or equivalent professional experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting a senior advisor, producer, or relationship manager within benefits, insurance, or financial services
- Familiarity with banking, brokerage, or professional services environments
- Active Life & Health Insurance License or the ability to obtain one within a defined timeframe
- Experience utilizing benefits administration platforms and CRM systems
