Location: Madison, WI
Pay: $55,000 – $75,000 per year
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts
Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee residential painting projects from start to finish. This role is responsible for coordinating crews, ensuring high-quality project delivery, and maintaining strong communication with customers and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate multiple projects based on customer needs and crew availability
- Ensure projects meet or exceed quality, communication, and scheduling expectations
- Communicate daily with crews and internal leadership
- Visit and inspect job sites to ensure quality standards are met
- Foster a performance-driven culture focused on productivity and profitability
- Maintain strong client communication, including follow-up and issue resolution
- Ensure field programs, systems, and processes are executed effectively
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and retention of painting crews
- Provide field training and coaching to improve team performance
- Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiency initiatives
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail and quality standards
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and related applications
- Previous experience in construction, painting, or a related field is preferred but not required
