What You'll Do
As an Internal Auditor, you'll help evaluate and strengthen the organization's internal control environment while supporting risk management and compliance initiatives across multiple business functions.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist with completing risk assessments of business processes throughout the organization.
- Perform internal audits in accordance with the approved audit plan and established audit standards.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, financial reporting processes, and operational efficiencies.
- Identify risks, control gaps, and process improvement opportunities while providing practical recommendations.
- Prepare clear, concise audit reports and communicate findings to leadership.
- Coordinate external audits and regulatory examinations.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and internal procedures.
- Collaborate with department leaders to monitor corrective action plans and audit follow-up activities.
- Analyze data and documentation to support audit conclusions and identify trends or emerging risks.
- Promote a culture of accountability, compliance, and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
What We're Looking For

Qualifications:
- Three to five years of internal or external auditing experience preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field preferred.
- General understanding of banking regulations, internal controls, and risk management principles.
- Working knowledge of audit methodologies, standards, and best practices.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and data analysis tools.
