Pay: $25–$31/hour, depending on experience

Position Overview

We are seeking Occupational Therapy Assistants for two full-time opportunities in the McAlester, Oklahoma area. These positions offer different settings depending on your interests, including a dedicated outpatient clinic role and a position that combines school-based and outpatient therapy.

Opportunity 1: Outpatient Clinic

Join an established outpatient therapy clinic in McAlester and work alongside a collaborative rehabilitation team.

Opportunity 2: Schools & Outpatient Clinic

This full-time opportunity provides variety throughout the week, working with students in the Eufaula area as well as patients in a McAlester outpatient clinic.

• Full-time during the school year
• Four days per week in a school-based setting
• One day per week in the outpatient clinic
• $25–$31/hour, depending on experience
• Potential home health opportunities for a local therapist
• New graduates welcome
• Active Oklahoma license required

Occupational Therapy Assistant Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans established by the supervising Occupational Therapist
• Provide hands-on therapy and support patients in reaching individualized goals
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Communicate with patients, families, physicians, and other members of the care team
• Assist with the development and implementation of therapy programs
• Support general department operations as needed

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Current Oklahoma OTA license or eligibility for Oklahoma licensure
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a therapy team

Compensation & Benefits
