We are seeking a Deposit Operations Specialist in Mandan, ND to support retail and business banking operations through accurate transaction processing, exception handling, and operational support. This is a temporary 6-month position.

Position: Temporary Deposit Operations Specialist

Location: Mandan, North Dakota

Position Type: Temporary – 6 Months

 

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of deposit operations functions including processing exception items, balancing official bank checks, processing return items, and verifying endorsements on large items

• Process notices, statements, reclamations, addendas, ACH non-post reports, incoming batches, and Federal Reserve/Bank files while meeting established deadlines

• Provide high-quality support and solutions for internal and external customer inquiries and perform miscellaneous account maintenance

• Maintain procedures and historical records in accordance with banking regulations, audit requirements, and compliance standards

• Utilize various banking systems and software to complete operational tasks accurately and efficiently

• Remain up to date on compliance regulations, bank policies, and operational procedures

 

Qualifications

• One to three years of banking, deposit operations, or related experience preferred

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Excellent communication and customer service abilities

• Ability to prioritize multiple and sometimes competing tasks in a deadline-driven environment

• Proficiency with banking systems, operational processes, and regulatory requirements preferred

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
