We’re partnering with a growing property management company in Madison to hire a Property Manager for a newer affordable housing community. What You’ll Be Responsible For
Property Operations & Compliance

Oversee the daily operations of a Section 42 (LIHTC) community

Ensure compliance with LIHTC regulations, Fair Housing laws, and state requirements

Manage income certifications, recertifications, and compliance documentation

Maintain audit-ready files and support agency inspections and audits
Leasing & Resident Experience

Manage leasing activity including tours, applications, move-ins, and renewals

Serve as the main point of contact for residents and handle concerns with professionalism and urgency

Create a positive, community-focused living environment that drives retention
Financial Management

Oversee rent collection and delinquency management

Assist with budgeting, reporting, and tracking property performance

Prepare reports for ownership and compliance partners
Team Leadership

Supervise on-site staff and coordinate with maintenance and vendors

Ensure work orders and property needs are handled efficiently

Help maintain a strong, accountable, and team-oriented culture
What We’re Looking For

2+ years of property management experience

Required: Section 42 / LIHTC compliance experience

Strong understanding of Fair Housing regulations

Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities

Strong communication and resident-facing skills

Experience with property management software (Yardi, AppFolio, MRI, etc.)
