About the Opportunity
We are partnering with a growing property management company in Chicago to hire a Bilingual Assistant Property Manager for a residential community. This position requires fluency in both English and Spanish, as you will regularly communicate with Spanish-speaking residents and assist with day-to-day property operations.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working directly with residents, staying organized, and contributing to the success of a community. Previous property management or leasing experience is preferred, but candidates with strong customer service and administrative experience are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities
- Assist with the daily operations of the property
- Provide exceptional customer service to residents in both English and Spanish
- Support leasing activities, including property tours, applications, move-ins, and move-outs
- Answer resident questions and help resolve concerns in a professional and timely manner
- Assist with rent collection, resident notices, and ongoing resident communications
- Maintain organized resident files and property records
- Coordinate with maintenance staff regarding work orders and resident needs
- Help ensure the property meets company and community standards
- Support occupancy and resident retention goals through positive resident experiences
Qualifications
- Fluency in both English and Spanish is required
- Previous property management, leasing, administrative, or customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Professional, dependable, and team-oriented attitude
- Comfortable working on-site and interacting with residents daily
- Experience with affordable housing or LIHTC is a plus, but not required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer systems
