- Supports senior team members by maintaining accurate records, assisting with month-end close, and preparing reconciliations and reports
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily bookkeeping activities including transaction entry, account reconciliation, and record maintenance
- Manage accounts payable and cash-related tasks such as bill processing, payments, and cash flow support
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts
- Prepare accrual-based entries including prepaids and accruals
- Assist with financial statement preparation for internal review and client discussions
- Identify opportunities for workflow improvements, automation, and third-party app integrations
- Support new client onboarding by setting up accounts, cleaning up historical data, and assisting with system transitions
- Communicate directly with clients to gather documentation, clarify transactions, and respond to routine accounting questions
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent experience (minimum two years in accounting or bookkeeping roles)
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
- Experience with QuickBooks Online and/or NetSuite
- Comfort working in cloud-based accounting environments and with modern financial tools
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Excel and/or Google Sheets
- High standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity
- Ability to pass a background check
Preferred but Not Required:
- NetSuite experience (Huge Plus!)
- Exposure to automation or AI-driven tools such as Zapier or Make
- Experience working with API-based integrations
