Key Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day operations of a residential housing community.
- Assist with leasing activities, including conducting tours, processing applications, preparing lease documentation, and coordinating move-ins and move-outs.
- Maintain resident files and ensure accurate recordkeeping and compliance documentation.
- Assist with rent collection, payment processing, banking activities, and financial reporting.
- Monitor occupancy levels and support marketing initiatives to attract prospective residents.
- Respond to resident inquiries and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Coordinate maintenance requests and follow up to ensure timely resolution.
- Conduct inspections of vacant units, common areas, and community grounds to ensure quality standards are maintained.
- Assist with property reporting, administrative functions, and data management.
- Support compliance with housing regulations, fair housing requirements, and company policies.
- Help oversee resident retention initiatives and community engagement activities.
- Maintain a strong focus on customer service and resident satisfaction.
- Serve as a point of contact during leadership absences.
- Support safety initiatives and ensure compliance with workplace and community safety standards.
- Collaborate with maintenance and operational teams to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming community environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1–2+ years of residential property management, community management, housing administration, or related experience preferred.
- Experience working with affordable housing programs, housing compliance, or regulated housing environments is highly preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with rent collection, recordkeeping, and administrative reporting.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with team members.
- Experience with property management software is a plus.
- Property management certifications are a plus.
