Location: Madison, WI

Are you a people-first leader who thrives on creating welcoming, well-run communities? We’re partnering with a respected, mission-driven property management organization to find a Property Manager who’s ready to make a real impact.

This role goes beyond operations—you’ll be at the heart of a community that serves seniors and residents in affordable housing, helping ensure they feel safe, supported, and truly at home. If you’re passionate about housing equity, enjoy leading a team, and take pride in delivering an exceptional resident experience, this could be a perfect fit.

Why Join Us?

Join a team that genuinely cares—about their residents, their communities, and each other. You’ll have the opportunity to lead with purpose, make meaningful connections, and play a key role in creating a positive living environment where people can thrive. Every day brings a chance to make a difference.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of a senior living and affordable housing community
  • Lead, coach, and support on-site staff, including maintenance and leasing teams
  • Drive leasing efforts, maintain strong occupancy, and support resident retention initiatives
  • Coordinate move-ins, move-outs, inspections, and ongoing resident communications
  • Address resident needs with empathy, professionalism, and a solutions-oriented mindset
  • Manage rent collections, process payments, and maintain accurate, organized records
  • Ensure compliance with LIHTC, HUD, and other affordable housing regulations
  • Handle property-level reporting and administrative responsibilities for leadership

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years of property management experience (multi-family required; senior living or affordable housing experience is a big plus)
  • Working knowledge of LIHTC, HUD, or other compliance programs
  • A natural leader who can motivate a team and juggle multiple priorities with confidence
  • Strong communication and customer service skills—you know how to build trust and rapport
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office; experience with property management software is a plus
  • A proactive, self-starter mindset with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally (up to 15%)
